According to a new survey carried out by the American Payroll Association, employers have adapted to the recently enacted tax law changes but employees are concerned about how the changes affect them. The survey found that employers had no problems meeting the February 15 deadline to begin using 2018 federal income tax withholding tables to reflect the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act changes. However, many employees are asking questions, including “Will I have enough taxes withheld from my paycheck to not owe taxes when I file in 2019?” and “Will I need to complete a new W-4 form?”
